Snow! Snow! Snow!

I will have to admit that I did not believe the weather men when they were predicting 7-11 inches of snow this week. Generally, when they predict something like this, nothing happens, or nothing sticks. Also, it was warm on Wednesday, so I didn't think that any thing would stick if we did get anything. I guess I was wrong. McKenzie and I have been home since Wednesday - she had an ear infection and I had to get her to a dr before anything came, if it was going to come. All of us have been home since Thursday - we are all looking forward to getting back to our routines.

New Blog

I have decided to create to new blog. I will still be updating this one, I just created one to share recipes. Several friends that have blogs share recipes, so I decided to try and put them in one place and leave this blog for McKenzie stories.

The new blog is called McCormick Munchies. Enjoy. If you would like to add a recipe, let me know and I will be glad to add it for you.

McKenzie has really been working on her memory verse from Sunday School this month. Here she is sharing what she has learned. I will note, she was not sure about starting this venture, but has had fun saying and practicing the movements every night.

At Least She's Honest

The other night when rocking McKenzie before bed she was biting on her nails. I told her to stop and she did without any problems. Normally when I lay her down and get her all covered up, she sits up and tells me that she will lay down after I leave the room and close her door. This time, she didn't do that, she proceeded to tell me that once I left, she would begin biting her nails again. It took all I had not to laugh but at least she was honest.
