Why Mommy?

It's hard to believe the McKenzie is 2 years olds. At times, she seems like she is much older. She is amazing us everyday. When she watches her favorite shows and the characters are sad, she will look at us and give a sad face, she looks like she is about to cry.

Along with her growing up, she likes to ask the question why? She will ask us what we are doing and then ask why? I know this is just part of the growing up process.

Last weekend, McKenzie and I went to a safety fair for kids at WT. McKenzie loved being able to see the new baby buffalo and get a free backpack. After the fair we went and got her hair cut. She is still not too sure about the hair cutting process but at least it is not in her face any more.

These are pre-haircut pictures. Look at how long her hair has gotten.

These are post-haircut pictures. She loves getting her picture taken.

Fair Pictures - she had a great time and I know that she will enjoy it much more when she is older.

This was McKenzie's favorite part of the fair. If it was up to her, we would have stayed and watched the buffalo all day.

She got her face painted for the first time. She wasn't quite sure what to think about the cold wet paint being put on her face. She thought it was ticklish.

At the fair we got free hot dogs and drinks. McKenzie loves her Dr. Pepper. When she wants to drink my Dr. Pepper, she always asks for "pepper".
I wonder where she gets her love for Dr. Pepper?

I hope that everyone has a wonderful week. I hope to have new videos up soon.
